Employer Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) are a popular method of helping employers control health insurance costs while providing choices to employees. Typically, an HRA is used in conjunction with a less expensive higher deductible or co-pay health plan. With an HRA, employers can set aside money for each employee to pay for health care expenses. Inland Bank offers these types of accounts but does not offer administration of them.

How long does the employee enrollment process take?

Generally within 1-2 business days after we receive them. (Note: Enrollment files and applications must contain all requested information or processing may be delayed).

When can my employees expect their Health Benefits Debit cards and checks?

Employee debit cards normally take 7-10 business days to arrive. Checks are available on request and can take 7-10 business days to arrive.

Will Inland Bank work with my payroll vendor so that contributions can be deducted from the employee paychecks?

Yes, Inland Bank will provide your vendor with ACH instructions and support.

When can I start funding to my employee’s accounts?

Funding can begin as soon as your employees' accounts are open.
