Inland Bank Mobile Money FAQ

What is Mobile Money?
Mobile Money is a FREE service to all of our Online Banking Customers. Mobile Money gives you the ability to check balances, view transactions, initiate transfers between your Inland Bank Accounts and receive Alerts about account activity and balances. Mobile Money offers convenient, secure online banking services, when you need it, directly via your cell phone.

How much does it cost?
No additional fees or costs are associated with activating and using Inland Bank Mobile Money.

  • You may be charged for SMS text messages and Internet access depending on your carrier. Internet access is required to use Mobile Money. Check with your carrier for details on your phone’s capabilities and specific fees and charges.

What kind of mobile devices can use Mobile Money?
Most Web-enabled phones can use Mobile Money. You must have an active data plan through your service provider to utilize Mobile Money.

Does Mobile Money require software to be installed on the phone?
No. Mobile Money is a browser-based application that does not require any software to be loaded to the individual mobile device.

What types of accounts can I access with Mobile Money?
You can access personal checking, savings, CDs and loan accounts through your mobile device.

How do I enroll in Mobile Money?
To activate Mobile Banking, use a personal computer:

  • Log onto online banking Click Options
  • Choose Mobile Money Enrollment
  • Enter your Mobile Phone Number
  • Enter your Carrier
  • Enter your 4 digit Mobile Money PIN (this can be your Bank by Phone PIN or you can create a new 4 digit Mobile Money PIN – you will be using this PIN every time you log into Mobile Money)
  • Verify your 4 digit Mobile Money PIN
  • Click on Submit

You are all set up and ready to go!

Mobile Money is active, now what?
Once you have enrolled, Mobile Money is activated and ready to use. After enrolling, you should immediately receive a One Time Password (OTP) text on your cell phone. To access your accounts through Mobile Money:

  • Click on the link that was sent in the initial OTP text message
  • Enter your Access ID (this is the same Access ID that you use to log into Online Banking)
  • Enter your 4 digit Mobile Money Pin (this is the Mobile Money PIN that you chose when you enrolled in Mobile Money)
  • Click on Submit

You should now be able to navigate through your accounts via your cell phone.
Each time you log into Mobile Money, you will automatically be sent a new OTP text message for your next login.

How does the One Time Password (OTP) work?
A One Time Password is delivered to your mobile phone by text message upon enrolling in Mobile Money. Each time you log on to Mobile Money a new OTP is delivered by text message. This One Time Password is then readily available for your next log on session.

Is bill pay available through Mobile Money?
Bill Pay is not currently available through Mobile Money.

Is Mobile Money available on my eCorp Account – Business Online Banking?
Currently, Mobile Money is only available on our Retail Online Banking product (eCom).

Can I change my Mobile Money Access ID?
Yes. Changing the username for Internet Banking settings will also change your settings for Mobile Money.

Can I change my Mobile Money PIN?
Yes. Your Mobile Money PIN can be changed by logging into Online Banking.

  • Click Options
  • Choose Mobile Money enrollment
  • Enter your new Mobile Money PIN
  • Verify your PIN
  • Click on Submit

What if my phone does not allow me to click on the One Time Password (OTP) link?
If your phone does not allow you to click on the link, then please either remember the 6-digit OTP or write it down.

  • Access our Mobile Money Sign In Page at www.mobile.inlandbank.com
  • Click on the Sign In link
  • Enter your Access ID (same Access ID you use to log into Online Banking)
  • Enter the 6-digit OTP you received in your OTP text message
  • Enter your PIN (the Mobile Money PIN you chose when you enrolled in Mobile Money)
  • Click on Submit

You should now be able to navigate through your accounts via your cell phone.
Each time you log into Mobile Money, you will automatically be sent a new OTP text message for your next login.

What if my One Time Password (OTP) does not work?
If you are unable to log into Mobile Money with your OTP, you may request a new one at any time. If you accidentally deleted your most recent OTP or you are unable to find it in your text messages, please access our Mobile Money website and request a new OTP.

  • Click on www.mobile.inlandbank.com
  • Click on Sign In
  • Click on One Time Password
  • Enter your Access ID (same Access ID you use to log into Online Banking)
  • Click Submit

A new One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your cell phone. Click on the link in the OTP text message and log into Mobile Money.

How do I set up Mobile Alerts?
If you’d like to set up Mobile Alerts (text message notifications will be sent to your phone), this may be done through Online Banking.

  • Log into Online Banking (www.inlandbank.com)
  • On the Accounts page, under Messages, choose New
  • Choose one of the Notifications
  • Click NEXT and enter all of the required information
  • Enter your SMS Address in the email address field. Note: Your Alert will be sent to your phone – your email address automatically defaults in the email address field. Please delete your email address and enter your SMS Address in this field.
  • Click Submit
  • Click on the ACCOUNTS tab to return to the main page

Mobile Alerts currently available are:

  • Checking Daily Balance
  • Checking Below Balance
  • Check Clear
  • Savings Daily Balance
  • Savings Below Balance
