CAP is a program that may allow debit card transactions to be approved at our discretion – even if there is not enough money in your qualified account* at that moment.

Card Access Protection enhances your Inland Bank Visa^® Debit Card and offers you many advantages:

• Flexibility – better management of your money if a deposit is delayed or you made an error in your checkbook
  
• Emergency Backup – may cover an unexpected expense, like a new furnace or car tow, by allowing you to use your debit card in an emergency – even if you don't have enough money in your account.

If you overdraw your account up to $500, and do not make a deposit or transfer that same day, you will pay an overdraft fee** each time you use your debit card without sufficient funds in your account to cover your purchase.

Complete the form and return it to one of our branch locations. Once we have received your notice, we will process and send a confirmation to the address on file.

*To include Card Access Protection on your account through use of your Inland Bank Debit Card, your account must be in good standing. Good Standing means the following; it must be in active status; a deposit must be made in the last 30 days; the account must have a positive balance; no deposited items charged back against the account; no holds such as garnishments, levies or citations (legal or otherwise) currently outstanding, and the account holders(s) are not in default on any loan obligation to the bank. Not offered on HSA Accounts. **The bank may pay overdrafts up to $500 on qualified checking accounts. The following overdraft fees will be counted against the $500. The first overdraft occurrence within the calendar year is $29, each subsequent overdraft item results in an overdraft fee of $36. A continuous daily overdraft fee of $5 is also charged beginning on the third day after the account goes overdrawn and until it is resolved. There is a limit on the total per item fees we can charge you for overdrawing your account, which is a maximum of $180 per day. If an account is overdrawn $10 or less, there will be no per item overdraft fee, but the continuous daily overdraft fee will apply, if applicable.
